 WE BEAT OUT $2,500 GOAL

Our January Box Tops for Education collection was phenomenal with total earnings of over $1,600 bringing this school year's total to almost $3,000 ($700 increase over last year).

Central School Cougars won the Box Top School Trophy!!!

Box Tops for Education - Summer Trivia Contest : Win a $50 Gift Card — Answer the questions on the flyer and attached 50 trimmed Box Tops in a baggie stapled to the flyer.  Return to school by 9/30 and your name will be entered in a raffle to receive a $50 gift card.  All Box Tops will counts towards the class contests. In addition to clipping, here are some additional ways you can help. 

Please go to the Box Tops Education website - www.boxtops4education.com and register yourself.  All three East Hanover schools are registered under Central School.  Once registered, you can help in the following ways:

Sweepstakes/Giveaways - Manufacturers hold sweepstakes/giveaways.  If you register for the sweepstakes/giveaways,  we have the change to win 1,000 - 10,000 box tops depending on the contest.  Currently, there are three (Bisquick, El Paso Tacos, Yoplait) contests underway. Once you are registered, reminders will be sent to your email account to enter daily for the contest.

Reading Room - Box Tops has recently partnered with Barnes & Noble online shopping.  Our school will earn 6% on your purchase of new books and 3% on other purchases.  You will need to complete your online ordering via the www.boxtops4education.com website.

Market Place - Box Tops together with 70 online stores will donate a percentage of your purchase to our school.  Also, you will need to be in the www.boxtops4education.com website for our school to be credited additional box tops.

EH PTA Gift Card Program

East Hanover PTA  Introduces… PTA GIFT CARD SERVICE

It’s simple…  It’s a FREE service for you…It’s a fundraiser for the PTA. You already buy gift cards for birthday gifts, teachers’ gifts, coaches’ gifts, holiday gifts, graduation gifts.  Now you can buy those same gift cards through the EH PTA, and the PTA gets a percentage back at no additional cost to you.  Use them as gifts, or use them for yourself to purchase items from merchants you already frequent…groceries, fuel, dining, clothing and entertainment.  Use gift cards and help the EH PTA at the same time!  The PTA gets 2% to 15% back (depending on the merchant), all at no additional cost to you!           “Buy A Brick” Campaign

 

The East Hanover PTA is selling personalized, engraved bricks in hopes of completing a walkway at the new playground.  This is a great way for students to be remembered or even for those just starting in the school system.  Dedicate a brick to your favorite teacher, coach or a special loved one.  It makes a great gift for family and friends.

The net proceeds from the sale of the bricks will be used to pay for additional expenses incurred with the completion of the playground and to purchase needed ramps for the new handicapped swings. This is a family and community effort.  We want to include as many students, families, friends, and local businesses as possible. PTA “Don’t Throw it Away” Clothing Drive

 

The PTA would like to thank everyone who donated their time to help with the clothing/toy drive because we could not have made it a success without you.  We appreciate all those who donated their goods and those who came out to help with the collection.  We collected over 4,000 pounds of clothes, toys and shoes which contributed to MANY bags!  A special thanks to Sean Sullivan and his children for coming back to lend a hand in loading the truck.  It was a big job.  We will be holding another drive in the fall, so remember the PTA when bagging those old items.  Thanks again!
