PTA – Survey Results Summary

 

Thank you for taking the time to complete the PTA survey.  We received over 300 responses including some great suggestions and comments.  Listed below are the some highlights:

You must have been reading our minds.  Several suggestions were made for the following fundraisers which are already in the works including:   Environmental Friendly Bags, Family TV Show Night, Gift Card Program, Raffles, and Family Picture Night.

 

We appreciate all the great ideas and will consider many of the other items mentioned.

 

Casino Night

Overall feedback was positive.  The primary reason given for non-attendance was due to prior commitments and child care issues.  Please note – Casino Night will be held on Friday, Feb 13^th at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston.  So mark your calendars!!!

 

PTA Meetings

The preferred start time was 7pm (47% response).  About 50% indicated that they would attend a morning PTA meeting - something new we are trying. Regarding babysitting, about 65% indicated that they would not use the service.  The PTA is committed to having meetings completed in one hour.

Over 50% indicated that they did not check the PTA website or knew that it existed.  We are working diligently this year to eliminate paper flyers and are committed to keeping the website data current for your reference.  Please check the PTA website on a regular basis to stay informed.

 

Thank you to all that volunteered to Chair or Help with various committees.  The volunteer lists are being shared with all Chairpersons so they may contact volunteers for assistance.
