RECYCLE TO HELP US EARN CASH AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Our school recycling programis well underway.
Last year our student body recycled over 11,000 foil drink pouches and 8,000 snack bags, earning over $350!
We are on track to surpass those figures this year as we have recycled 4,700 juice pouches and 5,300 snack bags already!
Used ink cartridges recycled from Middle and Central schools earned $100, while cell phone recycling took in $50.
We will continue to collect these items throughout the year along with glue sticks and glue bottles.

Are you aware that the PTA is actively involved in recycling so that we may turn trash into cash and school supplies.....AT NO COST to us or you!
Recycling bins are set up in the cafeterias throughout the year to collect and recycle items that normally would go into landfills. Help us by recycling the following items:

CHIP, PRETZEL, POPCORN, ETC. SNACK BAGS – ANY BRAND

We receive approx. $ .02 per bag recycled. To date, we have recycled over 8,200 snack bags!
INK CARTRIDGES
Your used printer ink cartridges are worth money to us! Any brand. The company will credit us per cartridge submitted.
GLUE STICKS/BOTTLES
Your used glue sticks and glue bottles are also worth money to us! Any brand. The company will credit us per item submitted.

CELL PHONES
Do not throw away your old cell phones. Recycle them through the PTA so that we earn some cash for your trash. Send the old phone to school in a bag addressed to Barbara Marchitto, EHPTA.

DONATE MY COKE REWARDS POINTS
Deposit
bottle caps or box codes from any of the Coke products shown below into
the bottle cap bucket in the cafeteria. Each code is worth points that
are redeemed for school supplies and playground equipment.
